General Terms and Conditions:

Dogs Embracing Adventure on Independence Day

Eligibility: + -

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to enter.
  • Must be a dog mom
  • Must like, follow and subscribe to our Youtube

Submission Guidelines: + -

  • To enter the contest, participants must submit a video showcasing their dog celebrating freedom.
  • The video should capture moments of the dog enjoying activities that symbolize freedom, such as running in a park, playing fetch, or exploring nature.
  • Videos should be original, creative, and of high quality.
  • Only one video entry per participant is allowed.
  • The video MUST be UNDER ONE MINUTE IN LENGTH
    The video should be in a digital format (MP4, MOV, etc.) and meet the specified file size and duration requirements.
  • Submissions should be sent Google Form link

Contest Period: + -

  • You can submit video entries starting on Thursday, June 22nd.
  • All video entries must be submitted by Friday, July 7th at midnight to be eligible.

Judging Criteria: + -

Videos will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Capturing the essence of freedom and the dog's joy in the celebration.
  • Creativity and originality in showcasing the dog's activities.
  • Overall visual appeal and quality of the video.

Judging Process: + -

  • Judging will be a mixture of Dog Mom News staff (70%) and audience participation (30%)
  • Final determination to be made by DMN Staff

Winner Selection and Announcement:

Prizes: + -

Gift card in the amount of $100 to Amazon

Ownership and Rights: + -

  • By entering the contest, participants grant the organizers permission to use their submitted photos for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website features, and marketing materials.
  • Participants retain ownership of their photos and may be credited when used by the organizers.

  • The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates the contest rules or submits inappropriate content.
  • The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time without prior notice.

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to enter.
  • Must be a dog mom
  • Must like, follow and subscribe to our Youtube

  • To enter the contest, participants must submit a photo of their dog dressed in red, white, and blue attire or accessories.
  • Photos should showcase the dog's patriotic spirit and creativity.
  • Only one photo entry per participant is allowed.
  • The photo should be in a digital format (JPEG, PNG, etc.) and of high quality.
  • Submissions should be sent via link

Contest Period: + -

  • You can submit entries for the photo contest starting on Thursday, June 22nd.
  • All photo entries must be submitted by Friday, July 7th at midnight to be eligible.

Judging Criteria: + -

Photos will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity and originality in showcasing the dog's patriotic attire or accessories.
  • Relevance to the theme of "Most Patriotic Pup."
  • Overall visual impact and appeal of the photo.

Judging Process: + -

  • Judging will be a mixture of Dog Mom News staff (70%) and audience participation (30%)

Winner Selection and Announcement: + -

  • The top photo with the most votes will be selected as the winner
  • Winners will be announced on our Dog Mom News LIVE! Thursday, July 13th at 8pm EST
  • Winners will then be notified via email

Prizes: + -

  • Gift card in the amount of $50 to Chewy
